Day 1: Fly from India (New Delhi ) to Beijing. Arrival/Beijing ( SD )
Fly to Beijing. 

Arrival in Beijing, which is capital city and heart for China, and serves as political, cultural, economic centers and well preserved ancient city. Welcome to Beijing, China! Our local guide and driver will meet you and transfer to your hotel. Rest and enjoy Beijing Roasted Duck dinner.
Day 2: One day tour in Beijing (B L /)
The first stop today is Tiananmen Square - the largest city square in the world. Then walk into the Forbidden City (UNESCO), the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasty, to explore its many fascinating halls and pavilions. Afterwards, visit the elegant Summer Palace (UNESCO), the largest imperial garden in the world. Evening program: Chinese Kongfu show (optional program) could be arranged tonight. 

Day 3: One day tour in Beijing (B L /)
This morning you will be taken to Great Wall at Mu Tian Yu (UNESCO), the site of the most popular section of the Great Wall of China. On the way back to the city, take a quick look from outside at Olympic Stadium, nicknamed Bird's Nest and the National Swimming Centre, also known as the Water Cube.

In the late afternoon, you can take Hu Tong tour to old Beijing (optional program) (2.5-3h) .

Day 4: Beijing/ Xi’an (B L / )
Transfer to airport and fly to Xi’an in the morning. Xi’an was the ancient capital for 11 dynasties and was east end of the Silk Road. On arrival, meet and transfer to Xi’an city and start to explore the Ancient City Wall , which is one of the oldest walls in China and still compasses the center of Xi'an. Then head to Wild Goose Pagoda , a Tang Dynasty landmark. This seven-story pagoda was initially constructed in 652 AD, and a larger team of scholars was organized here for translation of the Buddhist sutras brought back from India and it became a holy place for pilgrimages. Enjoy Tang Dynasty dumpling dinner show (optional program  including dinner in the evening.


Day 5. One day tour in Xi’an (B L /)
Visit the Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses (UNESCO), one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in the world. More than 6000 life-sized terra cotta warriors, archers, infantrymen, horses and bronze chariots silently guarded the tomb of China's First Emperor for over 2,200 years. Then head to Terracotta Warriors and Horses Factory to learn about the process of how to make warriors and horses, and souvenir shopping. Afterwards, stroll through the Muslim Street. If you are after authentic local delicacies in Xi'an, the Muslim Street is the place to be.


Day 6. Xi’an/ Shanghai (B / D)
Take express train from Xi’an to Shanghai in the morning.

Shanghai is an international metropolis and business center in China, and serves as economic, financial, trade centers and biggest port in China with cultural combination of East and West. Rest after dinner.

Day 7 One day tour to Suzhou (B L /) 
Suzhou is an ancient city with modernization, which was built in 514BC, and is known as "Venice in the East", “Paradise on the earth”, “Garden to Shanghai”, “Home of silk”, and leading city for foreign investment and trade in China. The city is famous for classical gardens, canals, arts and crafts etc. It’s a unbelievable city in past and present---
Pick up from hotel in Shanghai and drive 1.5-2h to Suzhou; Visit Master of Nets Garden, which is an exquisite and elegant garden from 800 years with strategically layout of garden and residential houses; Have a boat ride on the canal. The city moat of Suzhou serves a part of Grand Canal, which runs from Beijing to Hangzhou and used to be the most important way for transportation of grains, silk and teas for capital in north China. And the partly preserved Ancient City Wall Relic is just telling the 2500 years history and story to you. Lunch in local restaurant; Visit Suzhou Silk Embroidery Art Center, where you can get close look at traditional artistic needle work of house ladies in Suzhou. The silk embroidery they do is cultural heritage of China, and comparable to oil painting in western countries. Walk along Shan Tang Old Street to enjoy the classical taste of Suzhou and have free time for arts & crafts shopping in local market.
In the late afternoon, drive back to Shanghai and rest.  

Day 8 One day tour to Zhu Jia Jiao Water Village, Xin Tian Di  (B L /) 
The Tour starts at the oldest and has been best-protected water village: Zhu Jia Jiao, which is located about 25 km west of downtown Shanghai. You will touch and feel over 400 years old water village with small canals, rivers and bridges, Ming & Qing Dynasty style house, the numerous small shops where you can practice your bargain skills. It’s another face of Shanghai and preserved simple lifestyle in Shanghai. 

Pick up from hotel in Shanghai and drive 1h to Zhu Jia Jiao Water Village; Visit preserved old village area to experience the simple lifestyle and architectures on and beside the water; Have free time for arts & crafts shopping in local market, and for leisure time in tea house with local opera, coffee etc.
Drive back to Shanghai and have lunch in local restaurant; Visit Xin Tian Di: the Bar Street in the former French Concession Area in the old fashion houses. Have free time for walking around and drinks on guests’ own. Then drive back to hotel in Shanghai.

Day 9. One day tour in Shanghai (B / D)
One day city tour in Shanghai. Visit China Art Museum, which used to be China Pavilion for 2010 Shanghai World Expo, and there’re quite a lot of contemporary and modern arts collection, the architecture itself is a very famouse landmark of Shanghai, and a typical traditional Chinese architecture in the shape of bronze vessel in China.
Xin Yang Clothes and Gift Market, is another popular shopping center attracting all shoppers around the world, where you can buy all big brands goods with quite low price. Original or copy, you know what you buy and you buy what you know. Surely, you will forget time to meet your guide and driver, and get your hands full. It's so fascinating market!


Day 10. One day tour in Shanghai (B L /)
Pick up at hotel for city tour: visit Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tv Tower (The main observation deck of 263m with skywalk) to enjoy the impression on modern Shanghai and rapid development of Shanghai. And continue the tour to the Bund, which is Shanghai’s important landmark, and is well known as the International Architecture Exhibition from early 20th century. And take a boat riding on the Huangpu River to enjoy more city view of old and new Shanghai leisurely on the water. Pay a visit to Shanghai Museum, to enjoy art works from last 5000 years. Drive back to hotel. Rest time is on own.
After your own dinner, enjoy Shanghai by night (optional program) for the night view of Shanghai , which brings you impressive lights of the city.


Day 11. One day tour in Shanghai (B L /)
Pick up at hotel for city tour: visit the Jade Buddha Temple,which is the most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai as a pair of jade Buddha statues invited from Burma in 1882, and where you can learn more about local people's religious practice. The tour continues to Silk Museum, to learn more about Chinese silk culture and sericulture/ silkworm raising tradition for over 4000 years in South of Yangtze River, operating workshop for process demonstration, and quality silk souvenir shopping. Yu Garden is the well preserved classical Chinese garden from over 400 years ago, with quite a lot of architectures such as pavilions, chambers, corridors and halls, the man-made landscape brings you peace and relaxation. And the Old Town, is the area surrounding Yu Garden, full of shops and restaurants and is popular bazaar area for souvenir. Then have walk and do some shopping on Nanjing Rd., which is known as No. 1 shopping street in China, full of department stores and specialty stores. You can buy quality staff with reasonable price there. But there’s no bargain.Take a break at hotel and enjoy Chinese Acrobatic Show (optional program) at 19:30-21:00.The acrobatic show will give you an exciting and breath-taking evening, which is the top level performance of acrobatics in China and has been invited to perform around the world. Stay in Shanghai for overnight.

Day 12. Fly from Shanghai back to India (New Delhi ). (B )
Pick up at hotel and transfer to airport for flying home or to next destination with wonderful memories of trip to China!

Day 6-Day 9. Optional tour to Yangtze River Cruise
Take express train from Xi’an to Chongqing in the morning, embarks Yangtze River Cruise in Chongqing, sails downstream along the Yangtze River, and make some stops for land tours of local village, the Three Gorges Dam etc. And disembarks Yangtze River Cruise in Yichang. Take express train to Shanghai.
