Overview

Uzbekistan is a Central Asian nation and former Soviet republic. It's known for its mosques, mausoleums and other sites linked to the Silk Road, the ancient trade route between China and the Mediterranean. Samarkand, a major city on the route, contains a landmark of Islamic architecture: the Registan, a plaza bordered by 3 ornate, mosaic-covered religious schools dating to the 15th and 17th centuries.

On a trip to Uzbekistan, travellers can visit museums and ancient bazaars in Tashkent, marvel at the Gur-Emir Mausoleum and venture on a desert excursion in Samarkand. They can explore the Ark Citadel and enjoy a relaxing bath in a local hammam in the city of Bukhara. Visitors can look for some unique offerings at Taqi-Telpak Furushon - bazaar of cap makers and Taqi-Zaragon - bazaar of jewellers.

You can opt to dine at a terrace restaurant in the city to sample local food in style. With such options, Bukhara is an important inclusion in the itinerary of any Uzbekistan holiday. The city of Khiva is another wonder of this country that is divided into two primary sections by a massive ancient wall. The walled portion, known as Itchan Kala, houses a number of remarkable architectural creations. The ornate mosques, madrassas and Registan minarets of this city can leave an indelible impression on the minds of visitors. Some of the finest souvenirs can be bought in the local markets of Khiva. DAY 1  – Departure Mumbai 
Arrival Tashkent Departure Mumbai by Uzbekistan Airways HY 428 – at 0745 Hrs. Arrival at Tashkent Airport at 1120 Hrs, meet and transfer to Hotel by our guide and driver. 14:00 Guide Meet at Hotel Lobby.  DAY 4  - Bukhara-Tashkent

DAY 5 - Tashkent - Chimyan 
 Tashkent. After a sumptuous breakfast 09:30hrs Visit Charvak and Chimgan mountains. Nicknamed Switzerland of Uzbekistan, this area is famous with Tashkent residents and guests as a recreational area. Chair lift takes you to the top of the mountain from where you enjoy breathtaking views, you must take some time for photo shooting! 14:30 hrs Lunch in Pyramids resort with Uzbek / Indian mixed food in Chimgan Mountains. 15:30hrs Free time to explore Charvak Artificial Reservoir: here local residents spend their times in hot summer days entertaining themselves with fishing, swimming, canoeing and other activities… 18:00hrs Drive back to the hotel. DAY 6 -Departure Tashkent

Lunch at European restaurant – Fort Vernyi After lunch transfer to Medeo gorge, where you will have a brief stop on the huge Medeo dam, which protects the city from destructive mudflows formed on the tops of the western Tien Shan. Medeo - Shymbulak cable car (gondola, way up) - Mountain Ski resort Shymbulak- - amazing views of the snow peaks and the Tien-Shan mountains . The Ski Resort Chimbulak is located on a picturesque valley in the Zailiyskiy Alatau within the height 2260 m above sea level, 25 km from the center of Almaty. 18.00 Transfer for dinner at the Indian restaurant. DAY 7 - Medeo and Chymbulak Mountains
 Breakfast 09.00 transfer to Medeo gorge, where you will have a brief stop on the huge Medeo dam, which protects the city from destructive mudflows formed on the tops of the western Tien Shan. Lunch during excursion. Medeo - Shymbulak cable car (gondola, way up) - mountain ski resort Shymbulak- - amazing views of the snow peaks and the Tien-Shan mountains . The Ski Resort Chimbulak is located on a picturesque valley in the Zailiyskiy Alatau within the height 2260 m above sea level, 25 km from the center of Almaty. Drive back to city. 19.00 Transfer Dinner at the Local European restaurant – Noodles. [B-L-D] 

DAY 8  - Big Almaty Lake 
Breakfast 10.00 After breakfast depart to excursion at the Big Almaty Lake (about 30 km from Almaty) Big Almaty Lake is located in gorge of river Big Almatinka, at height of 2511 m above sea level, in 28, 5 km to the south from Almaty. The lake is in a hollow, surrounded from different directions with mountain tops. Lunch at Gavinda’s restaurants 16.00 Transfer to Falconry farm “Sunkar”. Excursion in falconry farm and falcon show. The show takes place in the musical accompaniment. Viewers get a lot of information about the history of falconry, the biological features and the way of life of birds of prey. DAY 9 - Kok Tobe Mountain 
Breakfast 10.00 After breakfast transfer to visit Kok-Tobe mountain (the highest point of the city, located at height of 1100 meters above sea level. From top the surprising panorama on mountains and the city opens) where TV-tower is located by cable car (from KokTobe by minibus). Lunch at the European restaurant – Fort Vernyi After lunch.  DAY 10 - Almaty City Tour 
 Departure Almaty to Tashkent onwards Mumbai. After Breakfast. Check Out. City tour starts from visit of Panfilov Park, named after the 28 Panfilov guards from Almaty, who died heroically defending Moscow against the Nazi invasion in 1941, the world’s most elevated wooden church, Zenkov Cathedral, Green bazar and the central mosque, passing the modern highlights of the city: futuristic and busy Al Farabey street, the presidential palace, Monument of Independence. Then transfer to State Museum, the largest museum in Kazakhstan, and one of the largest museums in Central Asia. The museum houses the most significant collection of Kazakh historical, archaeological, and modern cultural and political artefacts. Visiting of Almaty underground- The metro compared to the London Underground, is spanking clean and beautiful with Marble floors and various forms of Artwork on the walls. With trains arriving every 10-15 mins, and the Temperature Below 20 degrees Celsius, this is defiantly the way to travel during the summer, when outside air temperature is in the 30 degrees Celsius range.
