                      05 Days/04 Nights – Siem Reap Tour @434USD pp.

 

Day 01 - SIEM REAP – ARRIVAL

                        Arrival at Siem Reap international airport (flight TBA).      

Post immigration formalities and baggage collection our Spanish speaking guide will welcome you at the arrival hall and then transfer to the hotel for check in. (Official check in time is 1400 hrs, early check in is subject to room availability)

04:00 PM We’ll visit Wat Bo. Wat Bo Pagoda is one of the oldest pagodas in Siem Reap, Cambodia and has a number of well-preserved wall paintings from the 19th century. Although it is a Buddhist temple some of the wall paintings describe the famous ancient love story of Rama and Sita, the strongest man and the most beautiful women of all times. Later we visit Artisans D’Angkor. Here you can witness the traditional Khmer techniques used for stone and wood carving, lacquering and gilding, as explained by our experienced guide. Complete tours of the workshops take you from raw materials to splendid craft-wares.

Post visit we’ll explore local old markets of Siem Reap. Late evening enjoy famous traditional dance show followed by local Khmer dinner.

After visits, return back to the hotel and relax.

Day 02 - SIEM REAP- Angkor Complex Tour

                  Breakfast at the hotel.           

08:00 AM -  Proceed to visit Angkor Wat and Ta Prom temples. Known as largest Hindu temples dedicated to lord Vishnu. Angkor Wat, the largest monument of the Angkor group and the best  preserved, is an architectural masterpiece. Its perfection in composition, balance, proportions, relief's and sculpture make it one of the finest monuments in the world.

Note: During the visit of the Bakan tower of Angkor Wat temple, visitors are required to wear a proper attire, covering shoulders and knees as this temple is still considered as a sacred site (no short, miniskirt or short trousers). Child less than twelve years old is not allowed to climb up this tower. It will be closed on the Buddhist Sabbath Days, so the visit is subject to switch to another day. The Buddhist religious days: four days a month in accordance with the Lunar Calendar. Visit of Bakan Tower is subject to people limitation.

In the afternoon, visit the magnificent South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Terrace of Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Lunch at the local restaurant.

Day 03 - SIEM REAP- Bantey Srei Tour

Breakfast at the hotel.

08:00 AM - Proceed to visit Bantey Srei temple and later visit Bantey Samre. One of tenth century temple ‘Banteay Srei’ is renowned for its intricate decoration carved in pinkish sandstone that covers the walls like tapestry.

Visitors are required to wear proper attire, covering shoulders and knees to show their culture respect, as this temple is still considered as a sacrificial site for the Khmer people (no short

miniskirt nor short trousers).

On the way back to Siem Reap we’ll visit local village and Neak Pean temple.

Post visit return back to the hotel.

Day 04 - SIEM REAP- Local Visit

Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00 AM Proceed to visit Floating village on Tonle Sap Lake. Lake and river system that extends throughout Cambodia  and  It  is  the largest lake in South East Asia as well as a UNESCO Biosphere site due to its ecology and  endangeredflora and fauna. It  is of extreme importance to Cambodians who live on it and earn their living from fishing. 

Later we’ll visit Silk Farm. Angkor Silk Farm, which produces some of the best work in the country, including clothing, interior-design products and accessories. All stages of the production process can be seen here, from the cultivation of mulberry trees to the nurturing of silkworms to the dyeing and weaving of silk.

Rest of the time is free at leisure to explore surroundings on own.

Day 05 - SIEM REAP- DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Check-out and transfer to the airport to board flight for onward journey.

DAY 01  -  SIEM REAP - ARRIVAL         

Arrival by flight at Siem Reap international airport. Post visa and immigration formalities welcome by our local guide and transfer to hotel for check in. (check-in time is 1400 hrs).

Siem Reap is located in the northwest part of Cambodia. Once the seat of power for the great Khmer Empire, this location is home to the most ornate temples and as such is the most popular tourist site for those taking a tour of Cambodia.

Later afternoon we’ll visit Wat Bo Pagoda. Its one of the oldest pagodas in Siem Reap, Cambodia and has a number of well-preserved wall paintings from the 19th century. Although it is a Buddhist temple some of the wall paintings describe the famous ancient love story of Rama and Sita, the strongest man and the most beautiful women of all times. Still today the royal families of the Southeast Asian countries claim to be descendants of Rama.

Later, we’ll explore Artisans D’Angkor where you can discover the traditional Khmer techniques used for stone and wood carving, lacquering and gilding, as explained by our experienced guides. Complete tours of the workshops take you from raw materials to splendid craft-wares.

Post visit stroll around local markets before dinner at the Indian restaurant.

01:00 PM  We’ll go for lunch at the Indian restaurant. Post lunch drive to Chong Kneas Floating village at Tonle Sap Lake. DAY 04 - SIEM REAP- DEPARTURE.
